Kita Kaze Growing

Judy Boyko (nidan) leads the warmup last night. We had a hight number of beginners this year with four adults and eleven children. We are starting to look like a club! When the forerunner to this club started back in 1981, it followed the collapse of both another Shotokan club and the Shorin Ryu club (of which Sensei Ingram was a member). In that first few months, we had over 40 members. Kihon was done with three lines from one end of the gym to the other. I have since trained with over 100 in a class but the 15 or so we had out for the adult class last night felt just grand.
